The (rightly) often-requested European standard for responsible environmental management. At Royal Hoitsema Labels, we meet the strict regulations in the field of establishment, environmental care, waste processing, document management, training, communication, including inspection and corrective measures where necessary.

Responsible forest management according to the FSC – quality mark

FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®) is the quality mark for responsible forest management. The FSC label on a product indicates that the materials used come from responsibly managed forests. Royal Hoitsema Labels is FSC certified and works according to the guidelines of the FSC quality mark. We find it important to give our customers the option to choose labels made of wood fibres that come from responsibly managed forests. Choosing FSC certified paper means contributing to the preservation of our forests worldwide. A choice that comes with minor additional costs, but also has great added value: the trust of consumers and the contribution to a better world!

The contemporary, globally applied method to work more meticulously on process improvement, efficiency and customer satisfaction. To successfully and systematically implement this sustainable strategy, Royal Hoitsema Labels works together with the University of Groningen and various domestic and foreign partners.

We work with FSC-certified paper and cardboard as standard. This means that for every tree that is cut down, a new tree is planted.

BRC

BRC (British Retail Consortium) has its origins in the UK. This quality certificate was initially demanded by retailers. Today, the BRC Global Standards, stands for product safety and quality assurance, for the food industry and (packaging) suppliers!

Royal Hoitsema Labels will soon be BRC certified according to the BRC Packaging Issue 6. By implementing this quality system according to BRC Packaging in our production process, the food safety risks that can occur with packaging materials are demonstrably safeguarded.
